My name is "Holk" — not Hulk, though I'm just as strong! 😄

Jokes aside, I’m really happy to finally share this project with you all. I spent a long time planning it — over 1,000 renders later, and countless hours improving my workflow. At first, the quality wasn’t great because my setup isn’t the best, but recently I invested in a Blender add-on called Mem-Saver , which made rendering way smoother.

I’m so excited to be launching this first part of many still to come. If you played it and didn’t like something, know that I gave it my all with what I had — and trust me, it’s not much. Some assets I even had to create myself or use free ones, keeping things simple. But everything you see was made with dedication and heart.

Veil of Lies – A Captivating Visual Novel

Veil of Lies is a gripping visual novel set in a cyberpunk present full of mystery, conspiracies, and choices that shape destiny. Built with passion for storytelling, the game focuses on a linear, fluid narrative — guiding players through an emotional journey without distractions like open world mechanics or exploration.

Each scene is carefully crafted to maintain coherence and deepen immersion, like turning the pages of an interactive thriller.

 Lore:

In a dark past, the world was ravaged by a deadly virus that claimed millions of lives. Amid the chaos, governments joined forces to fight back — but only two renowned scientists managed to develop a cure.

Humanity was saved, and hope once again illuminated a planet that had spent months engulfed in darkness.

However, the joy didn’t last long.

A tragic event shook the world: the scientist couple was assassinated by a ballistic missile that destroyed their lab. Against all odds, two people survived — the scientist and his young daughter.

Since then, one question has lingered in the air, shrouding the world in suspicion:

Why would someone eliminate the saviors of humanity?

Years later, a man once hailed as a hero resurfaces from the shadows. Transformed by grief, he faked his own death and assumed a new identity. Now, he operates in secret, plotting to bring down the global government using its own system against it. But his mission runs deeper than revenge — there's a personal secret he guards closely, while searching for something — or someone — powerful enough to change the fate of all.

Meanwhile, in a distant corner of the world, secret agent Richard faces a devastating dilemma. Father to two brilliant children, he uncovers a dangerous truth that threatens not only the world, but his family. Faced with impossible choices, he decides to protect them with a cruel lie: he walks away, pretends to betray them, and plans a heroic sacrifice in the shadows. Before vanishing, he entrusts a mysterious device to an enigmatic figure known only as Ghost — an operative so secret, her existence is known to only four people. His final words echo: "Deliver this… to one of my children."

Richard’s children — the protagonist (MC) and his sister Eve — grew up surrounded by secrets. Trained from a young age to fight, think fast, and distrust everything, they’re as lethal as they are intelligent. When their father disappears — supposedly killed in an accident — the siblings realize nothing adds up. Determined to uncover the truth, they embark on a journey filled with action, secrets, and emotion — where every step brings them closer to answers that could change the world… or destroy it.
